The synergy between the Tishk International University (TIU) Research Center and international universities unlocks a vast potential to elevate regional scholarship into the global scientific arena. By bridging local expertise with world-class international institutions, this collaborative ecosystem cultivates a dynamic environment for high-impact co-authored research, cross-border academic mobility, and shared technological innovation. Harnessing these global networks not only accelerates the professionalization and indexing of TIU’s academic journals but also strengthens its institutional framework in alignment with prestigious international ranking benchmarks. Ultimately, these strategic alliances serve as a powerful catalyst for cross-disciplinary breakthroughs, positioning the university as a pivotal hub for global knowledge exchange and transformative scientific discovery.

4.    University of Technology- Iraq

The Opportunities

  1. We have all agreed with each other that the collaboration should start with an individual collaboration. Therefore, TIU will share the list of academic staff, including their academic profile, and UOT will also share their academic profiles with us. Whoever has an opportunity will inform the RC, and then we will contact Dr. Qusay, and the necessary communication will go through the agreement. The focus on publication will be in Q1 in SCOPUS or WoS.
  2. The UOT labs will be available for TIU academic staff, and if TIU staff need any lab analysis that UOT can help will have priority if the author pays the expenses and provides the suppliers.
  3. If any joint paper is published, the APC will be shared among the authors.
  4. The UOT has a project that needs national and international partners for processing the project and getting the funds. Dr. Qusay will share the project with me soon, and then from TIU, we will assign researchers for collaboration.
  5. We will journal our collaboration as well. They will send some potential Editorial members to serve on the TIU journals. If UOT requests, we will do the same for them.
  6. If UOT needs any supervisors for their Master’s and PhD students, based on request, TIU will assist UOT by assigning the international academic staff. The outcome will be Q1 paper publication and involvement in different research groups.
  7. They asked us whether we or any partner university has the lab facilities such as XRD, SEM/TEM, FTIR, MASS, TGA, NMR, RAMAN, etc., to conduct some research together. We will investigate our current capacity and collaborations, which we can use to obtain those materials for research and to secure privileges.
