On February 22, 2020, Director of the research center (Prof. Dr. Faiq H.S. Hussain) and Research Center Assistant (Mr. Kovan Dilawer Issa) participated as a Jury member in the field of Chemistry for the International Project Olympiad INPO-2020 that held in Family Mall Duhok organized by Ronaki Duhok Education. INPO (International Projects Olympiad) aims to develop projects addressing the problems of clean air, drinking water, safe food sources, and extinction. Young competitors offer solutions to environmental problems in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer, and Mathematics. 1st national workshop titled (The Importance of Stereochemistry in Science)

On October 13, 2019, TIU – Research Center held its 1st national workshop titled (The Importance of Stereochemistry in Science) at Tishk International University. The workshop has been presented by Professor (Giovanni Vidari) from Italy. The workshop will be in progress for five days. The opening ceremony was done by the Director of the Research Center (Prof. Dr. Faiq H.S. Hussain), and on the last day of the workshop, a certificate of attendance will be presented to the participants. Covered areas: (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, and physics, as well as to M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in the mentioned fields)

10th Meeting of TIU-Research Center

The 10th meeting of TIU-Research Center was held on Tuesday, 18th June 2019. The meeting was led by Prof. Dr Faiq Hussain the director of the research centre, with attending coordinators of all faculties. Important points were discussed including publications in scientific journals that are following the guidelines of the Kurdistan Region ministry of higher education. And submitting several projects from the faculty of Engineering.
