The “3rd Workshop for the Experienced Academic Staff: Research Insights for Effective Manuscript Writing for Q(1-3) Journals” was held on January 28, 2026, at Tishk International University (TIU), specifically in Hall 302 of the Education Building. Organized by the Research Center, the event was dedicated to enhancing the research capabilities of experienced academic staff and improving publication success rates.
The workshop featured a series of keynote speeches delivered by subject matter experts:
- Effective Statistical Analysis: Types and Applications for Publications: This session was led by Dr. Wasfi Taher Saalih Kahwachi (Faculty of Dentistry, TIU) from 14:30 to 15:10.
- Ethical Considerations and AI for Data Evaluation and Presentation: This segment was presented by Dr. Samira Saaed (QA, TIU) from 15:10 to 15:50.
- Common Rejection Reasons for Journals and Submissions to TIU Journals: The final session was conducted by Dr. Orhan Tug (RC, TIU) from 15:50 to 16:30.
In addition to these technical sessions, the agenda included a registration period, a welcome speech, the national anthem, and opening addresses by Dr. Orhan Tug, concluding with a formal closing ceremony. The primary goal of these presentations was to foster better research rigor, ensure ethical compliance, and provide participants with a clear understanding of the expectations set by both international and TIU journals.
