AIMING TO DEVELOP OUR RESEARCH EXPERTISE, ESTABLISH NICHE CENTRES OF RESEARCH EXCELLENCE
Through our research strategy, TIU selected specialized areas of excellence wherewe may recognize strength and leadership, deeply integrate teaching and research, make important interdisciplinary contributions, and have an impact on the local, national, and global communities.
These facilities will highlight our advantages and profit from the targeted investment. World-class researchers will work in our centers of research excellence to foster a culture and environment that encourages collaboration and knowledge exchange as well as to provide administrative and intellectual leadership. We shall strive to be other universities, businesses, the government, and the community’s
preferred partner. For this Strategy’s second iteration, we need to improve our model for research centers by adding a new tier where budding research centers can be fostered.
1. Each faculty’s research action plan identifies the major themes of its study.
2. The budget allocation methodology will give preference to specialized centers of outstanding research. We’ll provide high-caliber multidisciplinary research opportunities our top support.
